Gardenia jasminoides
Cultivated in Southeast Asia, Gardenia jasminoides is an evergreen flowering tree called “Zhi Zi” in China. It comes from China and Japan. The penetrating and intoxicating smell of flowering gardenias covered with dark green elliptical leaves is extremely lush. As the tree blooms, the petals are arranged as if in spirals, creating a wonderful symmetrical image. The essential oil of these plants, similar to jasmine, is distilled with steam from the flowers of the plant, and a huge amount of them is needed to extract a small amount. Diluting this fractionated coconut oil (Fractionated Coconut Oil) creates a gentle and delicate scent, which is served in a convenient bottle with a ball applicator.
