Mentha citrata
Bergamot Mint (Peppermint Lemon) essential oil is extracted from a flowering perennial plant with purple flowers and heart-shaped leaves. Despite its name, Bergamot Mint is in no way related to the bergamot fruit. The main constituents of the essential oil of the peppermint lemon subspecies, which is similar to lavender oil, are linalool and linalyl acetate. This oil is an excellent complement to Fractionated Coconut Oil when used for a soothing and relaxing massage after a workout. Bergamot Mint (Peppermint Lemon) essential oil’s lavender-like mint aroma is the perfect complement to a warm, relaxing bath.
It blends well with Citrus, Geranium, Lavender, Rose and Ylang Ylang essential oils.
This essential oil, sourced from India, is steam distilled from the leaves and stems of the Mentha citrata plant.
The aroma can help you relax.
